There is no mistaking that Mississippi State's strength over the past four seasons has been running the football.

Part of the Bulldogs success on the ground can be credited Arnil Stallworth, one of three senior tailbacks playing in their final game on Saturday.

During that four-year span, Stallworth along with Anthony Dixon and Christian Ducre have helped MSU account for 6,233 yards rushing from 2006-09.

The Bulldogs are ranked 12th nationally compiling 2,414 yards on the gorund this season averaging 219.5 yards per game. The rushing total is already ranked the ninth highest total in school history with the Egg Bowl still remaining on the schedule.

"We are up at the top in the country in rushing, especially the past few games," Stallworth said. "We are a good rushing team. Going into this game we are going to be relying on the run heavily. The running has been carrying this team a lot so we're going to continue running."

The trio of seniors are hoping to finish their career on a positive note Saturday ending the season just like they began with a home victory. Mississippi State downed instate opponent Jackson State 45-7 in the season opener.

"The running backs were talking after practice (Tuesday) that we came out during the first game of the year and won the game," Stallworth said. "We are trying to finish up on the same note. We are going to try to win our last game at home."

As the week has progressed it is finally starting to hit home for 5-foot-9, 205-pounder that his college career is coming to a close.
