Tulsa adds to 2010 class
As InsideTulsaSports.com reported on Saturday, the University of Tulsa hosted five official football visitors, including Navarro Junior College prospects Milton Howell and Derrick Hall. Those visits appear to have been very valuable, as two more commitments joined Tulsa's 2010 class.
ESPN's Hamilton is reporting that both Howell and Hall gave verbal pledges to Tulsa yesterday, making them the 20th and 21st members of the Golden Hurricane's 2010 recruiting class.
While the report states Tulsa added a junior college quarterback, that isn't entirely accurate. Howell, a dynamic athlete, did play QB for Navarro, but Tulsa recruited him as a pure athlete that will likely end up in the defensive secondary.
Hall was also recruited as an athlete, but is slotted for the offensive side of the ball, likely at slot receiver or running back.
ITS has been unable to reach the two Navarro teammates to confirm the commitments.
