Lincoln (Ala.) athlete D.J. Howard committed to Auburn in July. As of Monday, the 6-foot, 195-pound Howard still planned to sign with the Tigers.

But he's not completely finished with his recruitment just yet.

Howard, ranked by Rivals.com as the No. 33 athlete in the country and No. 12 overall recruit in Alabama, is still considering offers from Clemson and Kentucky.

The two schools are recruiting Howard primarily as a running back. Auburn, Howard said, is also recruiting him as a running back, but said he could project in the defensive backfield, too.
