Auburn has landed arguably the biggest commitment of the Gene Chizik era.

Rivals.com's No. 1 junior college prospect, five-star quarterback Cameron Newton, 6-foot-6, 245 pounds, has committed to the Tigers and will sign with Auburn Thursday afternoon.

"I committed to Auburn," Newton said.
