Bohanna's visit better than expected
Ferlando Bohanna committed to Mississippi State in November but there were some concerns after losing defensive coordinator and linebackers coach Carl Torbush about whether or not he would remain a Bulldog.
But after taking an official visit to Starkville this weekend, the three-star linebacker is more solid than ever.
"It was better than I expected," Bohanna said. "We went to the game on Saturday and then went around and toured the campus. On Friday night we went over and ate dinner at Coach Mullen's house. We had a great time with the players. The players really showed me a lot about the school. My host was safety Wade Bonner and I had a great time with him."
One of the highlights of the weekend is when Bohanna and the rest of the recruits walked in to a standing ovation during the first media timeout of MSU's men's basketball game against Georgia on Saturday.
"We walked in when they called a timeout and that was great," Bohanna said. "I felt welcomed. I wasn't even expecting that. I just felt like I was at home at a high school pep rally."
