The recruiting process started early for DaVaris Daniels, a 6-foot-3, 180-pound junior wide receiver from Vernon Hills, Ill. Daniels, the son of former Georgia Bulldog and current NFL player Phillip Daniels, had already collected offers from Miami, Illinois, Iowa, Wisconsin and Nebraska. On Friday he added another when Irish assistant Chuck Martin visited.
