Jamoris Slaughter and Harrison Smith are just glad to have permanent homes. Each has bounced between positions during their Notre Dame careers, but now they're feeling secure at safety. Slaughter is starting to build a physical reputation among his teammates and Smith already has one. Together this combination gives the Irish athleticism in the back.
