Texas A&M takes it easy before M&W Game

AggieYell.com Texas A&M took it easy in their final day of practice before Saturday's Maroon and White game. The team used Thursday afternoon as a chance to get a little bit of rest, working out in helmets and shorts and interacting with the student body during the Pigskin Palooza. "I'm not sure who had more fun; the students, the players, or the coaches," head coach Mike Sherman said. "It was a good opportunity for the players to connect with the students and [the students] a chance to connect with us. The 12th Man, the Spirit of Aggieland, is so important to us. We just want them to feel like a part of us. "We have gone pads in every opportunity we could. We are a little bit banged up. It gives us a chance to heal up before the game. Also, with the fact that we had the students out here, I didn't want to take the chance that someone runs into somebody."
