Hill ready to begin Bulldog career
Brandon Hill was one of Mississippi State's first commitments of the 2010 class.
The West Lowndes (Miss.) standout kept his pledge for nearly a year even after other SEC offers came in and inked with the Bulldogs on live television on national signing day.
"Even before I signed I had people taking pictures with me and I even signed a few autographs even at such an early stage," Hill said. "I've discussed things with them and they wanted to make sure I was sure on my decision to come to State. I just kept on confirming that. Most of the people were impressed with my physical appearance and told me that I was looking good and they can't wait to see me out there. That made me feel at home so it was without a doubt that I wanted to come to State."
Hill made the short trip from his home in Crawford to the MSU spring game to watch future teammates and cousin Tobias Smith in action.
"I thought it was exciting," Hill said. "The highlight for me is when they made the two quarterbacks go head to head. I feel like if you get the leaders on offense going head to head against each other, that just speaks volumes to me. I feel like things are coming along. We've still got a lot of pieces to be filled but we're looking good so far."
The former two-star prospect couldn't help himself and had to be a part of the action somehow during the spring game.
