Back in March, Brad Carrico became Notre Dame's first commitment in the recruiting class of 2011. Since then the 6-foot-6, 255-pound defensive end from Dublin, Ohio has visited campus for the Blue-Gold Game and he plans to return this summer for camp, but only as a spectator. The Irish have been keeping up with their opening commitment this spring.
