Building a better back-up
The theory of relativity won't apply to Notre Dame's back-up quarterbacks. When Tommy Rees throws an interception, there's no freshman pass from Brian Kelly. When Nate Montana misses a check at the line of scrimmage, there's no sliding scale of criticism because he's a walk-on. Andrew Hendrix and Luke Massa had better take good notes.
