Dade County's top 55 for 2011

PantherRage.com As the high school football season approaches PantherRage.com takes a look at the top 55 players for 2011 in Dade County. It is headlined by Miami Northwestern High School's Teddy Bridgewater.
1. Teddy Bridgewater - Miami Northwestern - Quarterback - (MIAMI) Bridgewater has had a very good offseason developing as a passer. Now the University of Miami commit must take the next step and lead Northwestern to a state title.
2. Gerrod Holliman - Southridge - Safety - (OLE MISS) An Ole Miss commit, Holliman controls the game from the safety position. He picks off passes, comes on blitzes off the edge, and can hits like a truck.
3. Ricardo Williams - Homestead - Defensive End Williams needs to add weight to his frame, but guys who can rush the passer are in high demand.
4. Robenson Therezie - Miami Jackson - Safety Therezie is extremely well built safety that runs well. He also lines up at running back sometimes for Miami Jackson.
5. Jabari Gorman - Miami Pace - Safety Gorman just makes plays whether it is on offense or defense. He is an undersized safety right now. Gorman has a top three of Alabama, Miami and Ohio State.
6. Ruben Carter - Miami Jackson - Offensive Line/Defensive Line Carter is a two way lineman for Miami Jackson that will play on the offensive line in college. The thought is that FSU leads for his services at this time.
7. Denzel Perryman - Coral Gables - Linebacker Perryman is a little on the short side for a linebacker, and his motor is questioned at times. When motivated he is one of the more talented linebackers to come out of Miami.
8. Elkino Watson - Miami Booker T. Washington - Defensive Tackle With the difficulty in finding quality defensive tackles Watson should see his offer list continue to grow.
9. Anthony Rabasa - Miami Columbus - Defensive End - (NOTRE DAME) The Notre Dame commit has been a 4 year starter at Columbus. 10. Andrew Johnson - Southridge - Cornerback Johnson, an Ole Miss commit, led Dade County in interceptions last fall. He is making the transition from playing safety last year to cornerback.
11. Nick Menocal - Belen Jesuit - Linebacker - (MIAMI) Menocal, a Miami commit, is a great athlete and a good student. Now he must show he has the instincts to play inside linebacker.
12. Miles Pace - Miami Central - Linebacker/Defensive Line - (UCF) Pace, a UCF commit, is a player without a definite position. He spent most of the time last fall playing defensive tackle, but he made not be able to add the bulk to play there in college.
13. Charles Gaines - Miami Central - Wide Receiver Gaines is player that had an injury plagued junior year. He is one of the most talented players in Dade County.
14. Devonta Freeman - Miami Central - Running Back - (FSU) Freeman, an FSU commit, is poised to have a huge year. He is running behind a very good offensive line and he no longer has to share carries.
15. Tacoi Sumler - Miami Columbus - Wide Receiver - (OREGON) Sumler is one the fastest players in the nation. He is making the transition to class 6A football after playing last year at Gulliver Prep a class 2B school.
16. Eli Rogers - Miami Northwestern - Wide Receiver - (MIAMI) 17. Jerron Seymour - Hialeah - Running Back 18. Marquis Lucas - Miami Central - Offensive Line - (RUTGERS) 19. Ritchy Desir - Athlete - North Miami Beach 20. Craig Wilkins - Hialeah - Wide Receiver 21. Rakeem Cato - Miami Central - Quarterback - (FIU) 22. John Miller - Miami Central - Offensive Line - (LOUISVILLE) 23. Dwight Jackson - Miami Central - Defensive End 24. Lyndon Edwards - Miami Northwestern - Linebacker - (FIU) 25. Keeon Virgille - North Miami Beach - Linebacker 26. Jermaine Reve - Miami Northwestern - Safety - (UCF) 27. Keith Baxter - Homestead - Safety - (MARSHALL) 28. Chavis Akins - Homestead - Defensive Tackle 29. Corie Wilson - Miami Edison - Defensive Back - (MARSHALL) 30. Demetrius Allen - Miami Northwestern - Linebacker - (FIU) 31. Tommy Shuler - Miami Central - Wide Receiver - (MARSHALL) 32.Deontea West - Hialeah - Cornerback - (MARSHALL) 33. Clinton Taylor - Miami Northwestern - Wide Receiver - (FIU) 34. Gary Wooten - Hialeah - Linebacker 35. Everette Slocum - Miami Northwestern - Offensive Line - (FIU) 36. Gods Power-Offor - American - Defensive End - (WAKE FOREST) 37. Carlos Carvajal - Hialeah - Tight End 38. Undray Clark - Valera - Cornerback - (WAKE FOREST) 39. Thomas Finnie - Miami Central - Cornerback - (SOUTH CAROLINA) 40. Mike Roland - Coral Gables - Offensive Line 41. Durell Eskridge - Miami Central - Wide Receiver 42. Pierre Maignan - Miami Norland - Offensive Line 43. Rannell Hall - Carol City - Wide Receiver 44. Desmond Hollin - Southridge - Defensive End 45. Travis Turner - North Miami Beach - Offensive Lineman/Defensive Line 46. Ladell Pleasures - Miami Springs - Linebacker 47. Brandon Bradley - Columbus - Linebacker 48. Courtney Moshood - LaSalle - Wide Receiver 49. Jovani McCray - South Dade - Quarterback 50. Rafi Motavalo - LaSalle - Quarterback 51.
