GBK: The 2-Deep - 2010 Offense
A.M. Allan
GoBlackKnights.com After the 2009 season the Black Knights were scheduled to lose just five starters on the offensive and defensive side of the ball that included two at receiver. Of course not every recruiting class is able to cover the needs in one fell swoop and there will always be the proverbial work in process when it comes to restocking the cupboards.
But one thing is for sure, Coach Ellerson and his assistant coaches spent countless hours making calls, in-home visits and wooing top recruits that fit the Army football program, as well as West Point as an institution.
As is the plan, the staff worked diligently in balancing a mixture of direct and prep bound talent in the class and when it is all said and done the success of this class will not be known on a National Signing Day. One is because many of the prospects made their commitment and extended their John Hancock after signing day, but also it will take a few years before people can truly determine if the hard work by coaches and players alike pays off for the class of 2010.
GoBlackKnights.com provides a breakdown of the 2010 Recruiting Class.
