Dillon gets dream offer
Palmdale (Calif.) defensive lineman Steve Dillon dominated the camp circuit last summer earning scholarship offers from Arizona State, Cal, UCLA, Utah, Washington and Washington State.
But Dillon didn't rest on his laurels, and the start of his senior season presented an opportunity to obtain a new scholarship offer.
At 6-foot-3, 250-pounds, Dillon has become the Falcon's starting defensive end and running back. That's right, running back.
While he is only averaging 3.2 yards a carry, Dillon's foray to offense demonstrated the type of athleticism USC requires in its defensive linemen.
