K-State seniors preparing for final showing
When 22 seniors embrace Kansas State coach Bill Snyder before jogging onto the field one-by-one at Bill Snyder Family Stadium on Saturday, it won't be goodbye. No, as K-State meets Texas for its final home game it will merely conclude three-fourths of the Wildcats' schedule, the latest anomaly in a crazy ride for a group bent on getting a one-time powerhouse program back on track. As senior left guard Zach Kendall puts it: "It's a roller-coaster."
