V-Cast: Comp and PK on prep for Bama
EAST LANSING - Michigan State players said that the atmosphere at Friday's practice was electric as the Spartans began installing their game plan for Capital One Bowl opponent Alabama.
Whatever initial disappointment generated from a snub by the BCS no longer exists for the Big Ten co-champions. The Spartans are amped up to face the defending national champion and pre-season No. 1 team in a match-up that is more appealing than most BCS match-ups.

Personnel moves during December are always intriguing as team's experiment with position changes. During his four years as Spartan head coach Mark Dantonio has used December to get his team's best players on the field.
Last December Keith Nichol made the move from quarterback to wide receiver. This December, Michigan State is experiment with handful of potential position switches. The biggest move might be that of Todd Anderson from defensive end to fullback.
Anderson, a senior, has been impressive at fullback according to teammates. The 6-foot-2, 242-pound former walk-on has embraced the switch and is hoping to bring a spark to the fullback position along with fellow senior Nick Bendzuck.
Red-shirt freshman Dan France has taken reps on the o-line at guard as the Spartans look to reinforce an offensive line that has been hit by attrition. The Spartans have also experimented with Micajah Reynolds at center.
