When VirginiaPreps.com recently released its early rankings for the top class of 2012 prospects in the state, Alex Figueroa checked in at No. 13.

That's just one indication that the talented jumbo athlete figures to be one of the key prospects to watch in the months ahead.

Figueroa, who plays for Brooke Point in Stafford, told CavsCorner that he is now about 6-foot-4 and 215-pounds.

Regardless of level of play, it's not often you find a player that lines up at wide receiver on offense and defensive end on the other side of the ball. That's the case with Figueroa, though. He isn't your average run-of-the-mill prospect.
