Brooks Not Quite Done
Earlier this week Rockdale, Texas athlete Daniel Brooks talked about his recent Oklahoma offer. The scholarship was only Brooks' second and first from a BCS program but even so he wasn't ready to jump to any rash decisions. Many thought his hesitancy laid at least partly with his father's playing days at TCU.
That said, it was a conversation with his parents when he decided that Oklahoma was the place for him.
"I talked it over with my parents, and it's just Oklahoma, they want me real bad and a school like OU, there is no way to wait on that." Brooks said. "With TCU, I know they are both TCU alumni but as far as waiting on TCU, no because they are showing me interest but not as much as OU. (My parents) would love for me to go there but a school that is prestigious as OU, really OU is a school and a team and coaches that you just can't turn down."
But is his commitment, final?
