Almost a week before his team started spring practice, Kansas State head coach Bill Snyder in addressing a gathering of supporters set the stage for an ensuing quarterback competition in a predictable fashion. He looked to junior returner Collin Klein and announced "odds are that Collin should be the odds-on favorite with the experience that he has from last year." Only four practices into the spring schedule, Snyder on Tuesday painted a picture of a competition certain to keep water-cooler chatter buzzing.
