OVERVIEW

Luckily the SPF 50 was lathered on today as the sun beat down on the Prothro grass for Tuesday's practice. Special teams seemed to move at a snail's pace after players were stretched out and practice began.

Brandin Cooks, Tyler Trosin, Jordan Poyer, Rashaad Reynolds, Garrett Hall and Markus Wheaton all took turns returning punts. Your guess is as good as mine as to who will be there come September 3rd, but Cooks, Poyer and Wheaton are my top three.

Lots of focus on kick blocks today, I was discussing with Adam that OSU needs to bolster its special teams and get to the kicker/punter this season.

The walking wounded really don't look all that wounded at first glance. Joe Halahuni, James Rodgers, Jordan Bishop and Jordan Jenkins all looked sharp and near top speed. Bishop and Jenkins continued through 7-on-7's while Halahuni and Rodgers took a spectators role for precautionary reasons.
