Mitchell remains in Athens
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - If Georgia is to beat Florida Saturday afternoon at EverBank Field, the Bulldogs will have to do it without the services of freshman receiver Malcolm Mitchell.
Bulldog Sports Information Director Claude Felton confirmed an earlier report by ESPN, stating Mitchell did not make the trip.
Mitchell, who injured his hamstring against Tennessee, will miss his second straight game after sitting out the Bulldogs' recent contest at Vanderbilt.
The Valdosta native still leads the Bulldogs in receiving with 25 catches for 438 yards and four touchdowns.
