Hogs squeak by again

HawgSports.com Vanderbilt sophomore kicker Carey Spear missed a 27-yard field goal attempt with 8 seconds left and No. 8 Arkansas overcame another slow start to take a 31-28 comeback win over the Commodores in Nashville (Tenn.).
The Commodores (4-4, 1-4) led 28-20 to start the fourth quarter and were 3 yards from going up by two scores when running back Zac Stacy muffed a handoff and watched Arkansas linebacker Jerry Franklin race 94 yards the other way for a momentum-swinging touchdown. Tyler Wilson found Jarius Wright for a two-point conversion to tie the game, and Zach Hocker sealed the deal with a 42-yard field goal with 6:53 to play in the final quarter.
