Five questions for VandySports.com's Chris Lee
A pair of 4-4 teams, Vanderbilt and Florida, face off in Gainesville on Saturday. The Gators have won 20 in a row in the series, but the Commodores are playing better football right now. InsideTheGators.com's Kyle Maistri asked VandySports.com's Chris Lee five key questions about Saturday's matchup between the teams.
1. "Florida fans aren't used to worrying about losing to Vanderbilt, but there is legitimate concern that the Commodores could pull of a win in The Swamp on Saturday. What's different about this team than we've seen in recent years?"
"This team is night-and-day different from the one Gator fans saw last year, and as I argued earlier in the week, it's a better squad that the team that won the Music City Bowl last year. That team relied on turnover differential and the ability to make plays at exactly the right time, while this is a team that's capable of beating a good team without needing to catch a couple of breaks.
"In fact, had Arkansas not caught a huge break when normally sure-handed Zac Stacy fumbled at the Arkansas 3 (the Razorbacks picked it up and ran it back for a score), not only do the Commodores almost certainly beat a top 10 team, but they probably do so by double-digits.
