Hogs prepare for tough offense
Arkansas' defense will face a tough offensive opponent Saturday in Mississippi State, a team that might be content to run the ball 70 times and play keep-away like they did last season.
In 2010 in Starkville, the Hogs edged the Bulldogs 38-31 in overtime after failing to put it away in regulation when they had the chance. MSU likes to get to the line and snap the ball quickly, but they also like to keep possession. They regularly got the snap off with over 15 seconds remaining on the play clock but still held the ball for over 37 minutes, compared to less than 23 for the Hogs.
"There's not going to be a quit in any of these guys regardless of what the outcome is. They know this football team, Bulldogs, are going to fight you until the end," Razorback defensive coordinator Willy Robinson said.
Senior Chris Relf was the only MSU quarterback to face the Hogs last season, as he rushed for 103 yards and a touchdown on 31 carries (3.3 yards per carry) and completed 20...
