Iowa commit Ruben Lile is not a many of many words, but rest assured that he was plenty excited on Saturday when Cass Tech won a state championship with a 49-13 victory over Detroit Catholic Central. We caught up with the 6-foot-3, 200-pound Lile to talk about the game, if he is still hearing from other schools recruiting him, and much more.

Q: What was the experience like on Saturday winning a state title?

LILE: It was crazy. Nobody thought we could do it but us. It was really a dream come true.

Q: Did you have a pretty good game individually it sounded like?

LILE: Yeah, I had a touchdown catch. It felt really good to score in the state championship game.
