Will McShea jump on board?
Jameson McShea has been waiting for an offer from Boston College for months. Now he finally has it. Just shortly after Sam Grant decommitted from the Eagles, McShea learned that there's a spot available for him at Boston College.
On Sunday, McShea spoke with EagleAction.com and gave us the latest on his recruitment.
"An hour after (Grant) did that Coach Devine called me and offered me a scholarship," McShea explained.
"Obviously I'm thrilled because I've been waiting for that offer for a while. Right now I'm deciding between BC and Harvard."
As you might expect, McShea said he's weighing the football and academic prestige of Boston College with the weight of a degree from Harvard.
"Right now both have great things about them and downsides," he said. "One is better than the other in some things and the same is true the other way around.
"I've got a hard decision and we'll see what happens. I've got to talk to my parents and my coach and make a decision."
The BC coaches have told the 6-foot-4, 234-pound tight end from Boston College High that they would like to know of his decision a few days before Signing Day.
"I'm targeting a decision for sometime within the next week or so," he concluded. "It will really come down to just talking to my parents."
