The Tennessee game in a nutshell

VandySports.com Vanderbilt scored a decisive 65-47 victory over arch-rival Tennessee on Tuesday. VandySports.com's Chris Lee and Jesse Johnson tell you everything you need to know about how the Commodores scored their big victory.
Turning point: On a defense-oriented night, both teams were a little slow getting out of the gate on offense. But Vanderbilt got the game's first points on a lay-up by John Jenkins, a 3-pointer by Jeffery Taylor, a jumper by Brad Tinsley, and a pair of free throws by Taylor with 16:30 left to make it 9-0, Vandy.
The Vols got the game's next six points as the VU offense went stagnant for about 2 ½ minutes, but with VU leading 13-8 at the 13:39 mark, a 13-0 VU run put the game away for good. Vandy led by 27 with 10:57 to play, and the Vols never got closer than the final margin of 18 from there.
