East Chicago's been good to Purdue in recent years, producing one of the top all-around players in the basketball program's history in E'Twaun Moore and the football program's top player currently, Kawann Short. Next up, it apparently hopes, is East Chicago Central sophomore-to-be point guard Hyron Edwards, who drew early offers this week from both Purdue and Indiana.
