O-Line experience excites Eger for 2012
If there is one unit on this year's Mountaineers squad that has no shortage of experience, it's the offensive line. The squad returns three seniors who have over 80 starts total under their belts, and years of game experience in the tackle position.
However, according to junior tackle Pat Eger, a second year of experience under Coach Bill Bedenbaugh means just as much as years on the squad entering the 2012 season.
"We're a lot older now," Eger said. "Me and Spain are the youngest guys, but in the middle we have all seniors coming up. Those three in the middle have so much experience, and I started all last year and Spain played a lot last year. As we keep playing more and more we get much more confident together, and it lets us get out there and play fast and physical."
