Rancho Santa Margarita (Calif.) Catholic dual-threat quarterback Johnny Stanton was in Lincoln on Tuesday to throw for the Husker coaches. Two days later, he found out that he passed the tryout and received a Husker scholarship offer.

Stanton believes that he performed well under the scrutiny of the NU staff.
