As Nebraska steadily inches closer to its season opener against Southern Miss on Sept. 1, the coaching staff is starting to put in more and more thought as to which players will be counted on to help the team from Day 1.

While nothing outside of the obvious starters has been officially decided just yet, head coach Bo Pelini made it clear that several true freshmen will see the field immediately this season.
