A Bullitt dodged
If you've followed Texas Tech football for the past two full seasons you know the Red Raiders actually caught an uncharacteristic break last Saturday against Northwestern State.
Terrance Bullitt actually escaped a potentially serious shoulder injury in the third quarter of the season-opener.
Bullitt, who dislocated his shoulder in the 2011 preseason and then again midway through the year, went down to the ground with a shoulder stinger in the season-opener on what he admits was a poor tackle.
"It was a blitz call and I came off the edge," the strong side linebacker said. "Instead of moving my feet, I reached out with my arm. It was kind of a self-inflicted injury because I should have been wearing my brace. I'm wearing it now. And I should have been moving my feet."
