Small changes could lead to big offensive boost
AUBURN -- Scot Loeffler didn't need hours of video to understand why the Tigers' offense is sputtering.
And he's convinced it's nothing big.
Auburn's offensive coordinator said Tuesday that renewed emphasis on details, particularly among the team's wideouts, is the Tigers' path to redemption. He believes an across-the-board limitation of mental errors can yield major dividends against Arkansas this weekend.
"The fine details are what win games," Loeffler said Tuesday night. "At times, we're doing some things that are really good. At times, we're losing our mind with the details -- and that slides. These games come down to one or two plays. The fine details have got to occur on every single play because you never know when those two or three plays are going to occur in a game that's going to make or break you."
