HD: Jones, Williams shine as Oklahoma picks up critical win

SoonerScoop.com LUBBOCK, Texas- Oklahoma needed it in a bad way. Following the loss to Kansas State there was no hiding the fact that the Sooners offensive struggles were a topic of discussion around the water cooler for the most part of the past two weeks as fans attempted to make sense of it.
Saturday at Jones AT&T Stadium those questions found answers as Landry Jones bounced back throwing for a pair of touchdowns and 259 yards en route to a 41-20 victory over Texas Tech.
Damien Williams turned in 130 all-purpose yards.
Following the Sooners win SCOOPHD caught up with Jones and Williams as well as offensive coordinator Josh Heupel who had become no stranger to criticism from a fanbase that has been use to fast pace, high scoring Oklahoma offenses.
