A quick look at the statistics will tell you that West Virginia wasn't overly impressive against Texas giving up 38-points (seven were scored on a defensive touchdown) and 404-total offensive yards. But co-defensive coordinator Joe DeForest is quick to point out that statistics aren't everything.

The first-year coordinator said after the game that he couldn't have been more pleased with the way the group responded after they gave up 63-points a week ago.
