Wilbon enjoys Iowa visit
Chicago running back Mikale Wilbon attended a camp at Iowa his freshman year, but this weekend was his first trip back since picking up a scholarship offer from the Hawkeyes. The Class of 2014 prospect enjoyed the game day experience at Kinnick Stadium despite Iowa's 38-14 loss to Penn State and had a chance to learn more about the program and the coaching staff.
"It was really good, especially the fan base," said Wilbon. "All of the fans at the game were crazy. Even though they lost, they were there from beginning to end and were really loud the whole game. I liked it a lot."
The Hawkeyes offered the 5-foot-9, 190-pound Wilbon in September after he got off to a great start to his junior year with 327 yards and four touchdowns in his first game.
