There is a high possibility that a SEC team will be playing for the national crown this season. Half of the conference's teams are excellent candidates to be in super-regionals - Kentucky, South Carolina and Vanderbilt from the East and Arkansas, LSU, Ole Miss and Mississippi State from the West.
