Receivers prove their ability
With the bulk of attention centered on quarterbacks Jake Waters and Daniel Sams at Bill Snyder Family Stadium, the two players donning green jerseys didn't disappoint. They were accurate with their throws. They were efficient during their respective drives. They looked comfortable calling their own plays. Most importantly, both looked like legitimate candidates to be K-State's primary signal-caller this fall. But for as good as their outings were, they wouldn't have looked the part without the performances by the wide receivers wearing purple.
