Hazell hopes to lay down early foundation at Purdue
Nebraska's first road game of the season won't come until Oct. 12 when NU travels to Purdue. The Huskers and Boilermakers have met just once in history, with the only other meeting coming in 1958.This match-up with Purdue will be unique for several reasons, mainly because the lack of history between the two programs, along Nebraska's schedule that doesn't put them on the road until Week 7. Purdue will also be breaking in a new head coach in Darrell Hazell, who comes to West Lafayette from Kent State after leading them to an 11-3 record in 2013. HuskerOnline.com caught up with Brian Neubert of GoldandBlack.com to get his thoughts and perspective on the Boilermakers coming out of the spring.
