Hill Progressing at Tight End
Over the course of the Dan Mullen era at MSU, the tight end position has been utilized as a multiple threat to the defense. The word "hybrid" is used describing those that Mullen and tight ends coach Scott Sallach put on the line of scrimmage and they are used as another receiver for the Bulldog quarterbacks.
One player that has made strides in that area and has become quite the threat at the position is junior Brandon Hill. A big part of how Mullen wants his program to run, Hill came from the state of Mississippi from West Lowndes High School and has worked his way up the depth chart becoming a starter for the Bulldogs in the opening game of the season against Oklahoma State.
