Hollywood hears from SC

USCFootball.com Irving, Texas, MacArthur wide receiver Ron Brooks has never been to California, but he knows plenty about Hollywood.
The 6-foot, 170-pound all-district selection has been nicknamed "Hollywood" since he picked up a football. After reeling in 51 catches for 793 yards and 8 touchdowns as a junior, no one questions whether the nickname is apt.
"I've had that name since I played in little league," Brooks said. "It just describes the way I play and my personality."
Brooks's prime-time performances have brought out some of the biggest stars of the college football world. Florida, LSU, Kansas State, Nebraska, Oklahoma and Texas A&M, among others, have all offered Brooks.
