Jay Wooten of Laurinburg (NC) Scotland County is arguably the top place kicker in the state of North Carolina in the Class of 2007, and although many Division 1-A programs are not recruiting players at that position this year, there are plenty of other schools that are quite interested in Wooten, who has reportedly been connecting on 60-yarders during workouts.
