There's an old saying that "growth means change and change involves risk, stepping from the known to the unknown."
St. Paul, Minn., Cretin-Derham Hall defensive end Broderick Binns seems to understand this saying very well judging by the diverse selection of colleges on his recruiting list.
Personal growth tends to be the number one factor in the recruiting process that most experts overlook. However smart players like Binns check out all aspects of a football program before they make their decision. It's that kind of mature mindset that has the University of Washington still on the talented junior's radar.
The possibility of coming to such a unique city as Seattle intrigues Binns. "I don't know that much about them (University of Washington), nobody has contacted me from there yet, but I'm looking for a new experience out of life" Binns told HuskyDigest.com.
