University of Wisconsin defensive backs coach Kerry Cooks is continuing to work the state of Texas, as the first-year UW staffer has apparently offered a scholarship to another Lone Star state prospect this week.

"It happened I think two days ago," DeSoto wide receiver/safety prospect Garrick Williams told BadgerBlitz.com early Tuesday evening, adding that Cooks said the Badgers like him at receiver.

The Badgers' offer isn't the only one the 6-foot-2, 217-pound Williams claims. He said that Texas A&M, Arizona, Missouri, Colorado State, Arkansas, Baylor, Kansas and Iowa have all offered.
