Ranking catches Miller's eye
Offensive tackle Ryan Miller of Littleton, Colo., is one of the most highly recruited prospects in the country with scholarship offers coming from coast to coast. With the start of his final summer as a high school student quickly approaching, the 6-foot-6, 278-pound standout decided to take a break from the recruiting process.
"I kind of put the phone on hold for a couple of weeks," he said. "It's the start of summer and I just wanted to be a normal kid for a bit. Nothing has really changed because I haven't done anything recently."
Miller may have turned off the ringer on his cell phone but he didn't disconnect his computer from the Internet.
"The Rivals100 came out and I guess that's pretty cool," he said about being ranked a five-star prospect. "I was definitely shooting for the Top 100 and it was a real blessing that they put me at 6.1 and a five star. I'm really proud of myself."
