Molk solidifies his offer
Last week, Michigan coaches apparently told Lemont (Ill.) 6-1 center prospect David Molk he'd leave camp a "happy boy." After a one-day performance in which he tore up the competition, Molk left Ann Arbor with a firm offer in hand and Michigan climbing his list.
Molk spent last year at tackle for a team that finished 10-2, advancing to the third round of the playoffs. College coaches tell him he'll be a center at the next level, however, something that's just fine with him. Though he's compact at 6-1 and 270, Molk is a fierce competitor more than capable of holding his own in the trenches.
Wisconsin, Michigan, West Virginia, and Arizona State recently joined Northwestern, Minnesota, Iowa State, Michigan State, Purdue, Iowa, and Vanderbilt with recent offers, but Molk insisted he doesn't have any favorites. U-M, though, undoubtedly made an impression this week.
