Nation's top ranked DT ready for FSU visit
Florida State is ready to roll out the red carpet this weekend. The No. 2 high school player in the nation and the top rated defensive tackle is headed for Tallahassee. Five-star lineman Marvin Austin will make his third and final visit of the summer, and can't wait to arrive in Tallahassee.
"I want to meet all the coaches, Bobby Bowden, see everything, the tradition, the atmosphere," said Austin. "I want to see some of the players and see how they do things."
Austin will travel to Orlando on Friday with his AAU track team who are competing in the National Championship. The 6-foot-2, 291-pound big man won't take part in the meet, instead, he'll head north to the Capital City.
"I know it's a college town and people love football," he said. "People make it fun. Players work hard to do what they need to do to get to the next level."
