Status quo for RoJo

Muskegon High School will be looking for their second state football title in three years when they take the field for the first time in the 2006 football season. One of the reasons why Muskegon is not defending a state title this fall is because of the injury suffered by now five-star defensive back Ronald Johnson following the team's second game of the season. Johnson is determined to make up for last year's sudden ending.

One of the most heavily recruited prospects in the entire country, Johnson is ranked by Rivals.com as the No. 2 cornerback in the nation. He has offers from schools across the coast, but has no plans to attend to the recruiting process, whether it be by unofficial visits or camp stops, for the remainder of the summer.

While Michigan does not hold down the top overall spot on Johnson's list anymore, they still do rank highly with the five-star prospect.
