Decision made on RT's future with Texas
Ever since his arrest on marijuana possession in May, the speculation on Ramonce Taylor's future with the Texas Longhorns has been all over the map. Some rumors had the playmaking junior working hard to get things in order for a return to the Longhorn program, while others had the talented running back/wide receiver having played his last game in a burnt orange uniform.
On Tuesday morning, confirmation came in that it was the latter that was indeed true - Taylor is choosing to transfer from The University of Texas.
Reports in various news outlets have Taylor opting for a transfer to Texas College in Tyler, an NAIA school. But Ramona Clark, Taylor's mother, said a transfer school has not been finalized.
"He's opting to leave Texas. That's all that's actually fact right now," she said.
