USC impresses four-star Hemingway
Conway, S.C., four-star wide receiver Junior Hemingway debuted on Rivals.com as the No. 6 overall prospect in the Palmetto State's class of 2007 and the No. 14 wideout in the country. The 6-foot-2, 205-pound star took his sixth unofficial visit of the summer on Wednesday when he tripped to Columbia, S.C., to see what the South Carolina Gamecocks have to offer.
"I liked the visit, just like I liked all the others," Hemingway said. "They showed me a lot of good things, and they're in the mix with the other five schools."
Hemingway, who is also considering offers from Michigan, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Florida and Miami, received the full treatment while in Columbia.
"They showed me pretty much everything," he said. "The campus, the stadium, the field, the weight room, the academic center, all of that stuff. We also met with the academic counselors and all that."
